Study and production of proteins and enzymes from biomass. Study of cells metabolism, monitoring by-products during fermentation and applying the results to achieve higher productivity. Management of the department's material and equipment requirements with extensive autonomy. Management of technical staff and/or graduates assigned to the department. Participation in drafting and reporting on funded research projects.

Analytical development methods

Development of analytical methods for pharmaceutical products control, with particular focus on antibiotics. Degradation tests, and stability studies.  Gas-chromatography methods. Validation of methods. 

Researcher 

Study and development of proteins purification processes and chemical molecules by mammalian cells and bacteria, from laboratory to industrial scale. Validation of production implants (chromatographs, management systems, ultrafiltration systems etc.) with drafting of operating procedures. Management and training of technical auxiliary personnel.

Biochemistry researcher with  task of study and development of downstream process to produce peptides from snake venom fractions. Development of HPLC methods for chemical molecules characterisation.  Management of stability studies
